Job Description

Have you got a background in biological sciences, life science, biotechnology, molecular biology or a similar field as well as a thirst for development and innovation? If the answer is yes, we want to hear from you. We are recruiting for a R & D/ Scientific Support Specialist with a leading, global supplier of scientific equipment who have big plans for 2022. As R&D/ Scientific Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Research and development of new products to build the company’s product portfolio, testing new or improving existing products. Working closely with the product development team.

Test equipment in the laboratory to reproduce potential customer issues

Dealing with customer issues and queries regarding the company’s product range

Provide a consultative service to clients, making product recommendations where possible

Share scientific and technical advice on techniques used with products including troubleshooting

Write and edit instruction manuals alongside any other product literature


About you.

You will have a degree in biological sciences, life science, biotechnology, molecular biology or a similar.

Experience in electrophoresis and molecular biology workflows

You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal



£30,000 to £35,000 basic salary
